Rowanstar's narrow face appeared over a clump of bracken as he gazed down into the clearing at Four Trees. ShadowClan was the first to arrive. Rowanstar liked being punctual about these things, and hated having to shove his way through a sea of cats to get the Great Rock where the leaders sat. With a slight flick of his tail, he signled for his warriors to cotniue down the slope. A wave of ShadowClan cats poured over the rise, paws silent as they raced over the under growth and began to fill the sacred, grassy clearing. The full moon shone brightly over head, not a cloud in the sky. Silverpelt stretched for miles across the sky, every past warrior looking down upon their kin tonight. Rowanstar paused to look at his group of warriors. They all looked strong and lean, and the ShadowClan leader smirked as he imagined the scruffy pelts of the other three Clans. He padded through the clearing and leaped onto the Great Rock, awaiting ThunderClan, RiverClan and WindClan. ~ Dawncloud made her way down the shrubby slope with her Clan mates, flowing out into the clearing. She made a mental note in her mind to keep an eye on Janna. If the other Clans were going to object to her presence, Dawncloud would be ready to defend her new friend.

Lightstar's silver tail trailed behind her as she led her chosen clan cats down to fourtrees. She saw that shadowclan had already arived. Seemed live Rowanstar...always first and never last. As she walked down into the clearing she smelled a....Kittypet? Then she spotted a young, nervous looking she-cat sitting next to Dawncloud, Rowanstar's sister. She nodded to them as she went to join Rowanstar on high rock. "Good evening Rowanstar," Lightstar mewed politly as she lept up beside the powerful leader, "I see you have a new clan mate."
Monkeytail followed Lightstar reluctently. He looked over at a kittypet and caught her eyes. He let out a ferocious hiss as he passed. he sat down at the base of Highrock a little ways of from Shrewtail, the Shadowclan deputy.
Starfur spotted Dawncloud, "Hello." He mewed. He looked curiously at a kittypet sitting next to the Shadowclan she-cat. Why would shadowclan take on a kittypet? Ohno...what were they going to do to her? Hurt her? His paws trembled as he thought about the horrible idea. He shivered and sat down a few paces away.

Dawncloud purred when Starfur greeted her. She bowed her head. "Good evening, Starfur." she mewed. She then flicked her tail to Janna. "This is Janna. She was a kittypet, but is now training to become a warrior of ShadowClan! Rowanstar was kind enough to allow it." She cast an exhasperated glance at her brother who was sitting proudly a-top the rock. Lightstar leapt to join him. Where were WindClan and RiverClan? ~ Rowanstar let out a burst of evil laughter at Lightstar's statement. "That little filth?" He flicked his long tail in Janna's directoin. "Hardly. Dawncloud has become soft... convincing kittypet's that it's okay to wander into a Clan's territory, and just randomly join that Clan. Pathetic. Dawncloud is weak." He sniffed and raised his head in distain. "However," he continued in a harsh, choked tone, "The kittypet must have an apprentice ceremony. When we get back I'll get around to it..." The last bit he added had a slight distant air, as if he were talking to himself instead of Lightstar. "Well, apart from that," he turned to face the sivler leader, "How is the prey running in your Clan?"

Willowstar sat perched on the edge of the slope that lead down to Fourtrees. Her gaze scanned the clearing, setting first on the two leaders who had already arrived, and second in the other clan cats. They all looked well fed and prosperous after the long harsh leaf-bare, with thick coats and firm muscles. Still, the RiverClan leader was not daunted by their appearace. The RiverClan warriors' pelts were as glossy sleek and as ever, their eyes shimmering with new power. The fact that she did not have a deputy bothered Willowstar ever so slightly, but she didn't let her uncertainty show to her clan. She kept a guarded expression as she twitched her tail and led her clan in the smooth, yet steep, decent into the clearing. As they reched the bottom, the warriors and apprentices broke apart, winding their way through the large throng of cats to get to old aquantences. Willowstar, on the other hand, headed straight for the great rock, her gaze held firmly ahead, and lept up onto the huge stone. She sat down lightly a few paces away from Rowanstar and Lgihtstar - who were clearly in conversation - without so much as a glance in their direction. Her eyes were calm and her expression unreadable, but she couldn't help but feel as though every cat in the entire clearing noticed the absence of one deputy.
Bloodclaw pounded down the hill through the rough undergrowth, his body pressed close to the ground as he pelted into the clearing. He skidded to a hard stop right at the nose of a RiverClan warrior. With a muttered apology and a quick shake of his tabby pelt, Boodclaw looked hastily around for one cat in particular. After a moment, a familiar scent reached his nose. He followed the sweet smell though the gathered group of cats until he came across Dawncloud. She was seated next to the kittypet, her tail wrapped neatly over her paws. Still, however unsure he was about Rowanstar's decision about keeping the Janna in the clan, the large tabby warrior padded up to Dawncloud and mewed a short greeting. Sitting down beside her, he noticed that a Thunderclan warrior was perched across from her, apparently involved in conversation with the she-cat. It was Starfur. A low, soft growl rumbled deep in Bloodclaw's throat, but he tried very hard to keep his claws sheathed and his hackles flat. Keeping one eye on Starfur, he turned his attention back to the pretty cat next to him. "A rather large turn-out tonight, eh?" He began, trying to start up a conversation. His gaze flicked back to Starfur, showing that he had all intentions of interupting the two previously conversing warriors.

"Pray is running fine, thank you Rowanstar." Mewed Lightstar ina friendly way, "Though i am worried...one of my warriors found an odd creature yesterday..." She spotted Willowstar leap up beside her, "Ah! Willowstar! Good evening. Things are well in Riverclan I suspect?"
Janna shivered as Starfur looked at her. She made sur ethat her amber green eyes wer foucused on her paws. She felt even more nervous when Bloodclaw, the cat whom had disaproved of her more then Rowanstar appered. She tried to keep her slick fur straight, but it was puffing up with nervousness. Trying to make the most of her new clan, she turned shakily to Bloodclaw, "So...is it nice? Being a warrior?"
Starfur let out a quiet growel as Bloodclaw inturupted his conversation with Dawncloud. Did he think thet he was in love with Dawncloud? The she-cat was pretty yes, but his heart belonged to someone else already.

"Ah...I see that we are late...I am truely sorry for the absence of WindClan" Gryphonstar said, coming into view with his patrol of warriors.
He turned to them briefly, smiling warmly. "Remember, we are here to promote different Clan relations. Try to be friendly and not stirr up anything that is not peaceful." the leader reminded the WindClan cats, before setting off to where the leaders where.
"Lightstar, Willowstar and Rowanstar...I am deeply sorry for any wait..." Gryphonstar said apon approaching the other leaders, dipping his head respectfully.
Lynxclaw was a little ways away, looking over at a bored ShadowClan apprentice who seemed to be out of place among the social cats. She padded over to greet him. "Hello. You're in ShadowClan?" she asked. "Yes..." Batpaw replied briefly, eyes looking about. "You look worn out..." Lynxclaw added, amusement flickering in her eyes. "Whatever...." he yawned widely.

Lightstar smiled brightly as Gryphonstar finally arrived. "Wonderful! Everyone is here now!"
Starfur spotted Lynxclaw talking to a shadowclan apprentice. "Ah....see you later Dawncloud, Bloodclaw, Janna." he walked casualy over to the bengal she-cat, "hello Lynxclaw." He mewed silkily.
Sandpaw walked into the gathering area behind Gryphonstar, her tail flicking up and down anxiously. she spotted a Thunderclan apprentice, Owlpaw. "hello Owlpaw." She mewed sweetly.
Lightstar let out a yowel to silence the cats. "Welcome to the gathering cats of all clans. I think Shadowclan should go first, to anounce someone..." She looked at the tom, waiting.

"Oh...my Clanmate, Starfur..." Lynxclaw added to Batpaw, nodding at the approaching ThunderClan warrior. "That's nice to know..." the apprentice muttered, but judging by his tone...it wasn't very nice to know.
Gryphonstar nodded his head, motioning for Rowanstar to speak firstly. He knew nothing of this newcomer that the other cats where muttering about. Judging by their tone...it wasn't pleasant.

Lightstar cleared her throught and leaned over to Gryphonstar while Rowanstar began. "A kittypet join shadowclan. Down there by Dawncloud." She said in barly a whisper.

"What?" Gryphonstar exclaimed to the ThunderClan leader, voice barely a whisper. He was not one to be discriminating; but...Rowanstar was another matter. His proudness toward ShadowClan knew no bonds. Allowing a kittypet of all cats to join must be madness.

Lightstar shrugged. "I don't know, he said it was Dawncloud's idea. To join she must have beeten him in battle, but i can't belive that."

Urgh! Just hear around! Ninety percent of the clearing knows about the stupid kittypet... Batpaw thought. This was turning out to be extremely boring; the same news repeated over and over again. "Not such...disgusting and disgraceful news" Lynxclaw sighed, hearing the mutterings of nearby cats. "Firestar was a kittypet. Big deal..."

Forefox and Wolfcry stared fixingly at the kittypet with Dawncloud. "She doesn't look like much of a fighter." Commented Wolfcry. Firefox nodded.
Monkeytail continued to glare at the kittypet, when he felt eyes on him. He looked at young sandy colored windclan apprentice, "What are you looking at!?" He hissed, scaring the apprentice.
Sandpaw quickly padded away to join Dovewing and Ravenstreck. She sat near the warriors away from Monkeytail.

Dawncloud nodded and purred when Bloodclaw arrived and spoke to her. She winced when Janna attempted to converse with the headstrong and vicious warrior, so she plastered a false grin on her face. She turned to Janna, giving her a look that said 'Don't push your luck with him.' If she got on Bloodclaw's nerves, she would be crowfood in no time. Janna had impressive skills and could easily defend herself against anyone else, but Bloodclaw had an intensity that she knew even intimidated Rowanstar at times. "Well Janna," she meowed, trying to avoid and awkward conversation, "Being a warrior takes a lot of work and detication." She then grinned and butted her freind's shoulder. "But you'll handle it." ~ Owlpaw nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard his name called. He whirled around, tail straight and fur on end, to see the pretty WindClan she-cat Sandpaw appraoching. He purred and sat down, letting the fur on his shoulders lie flat. He grinned, which was very unlike him, and greeted her with a happy mew. "Hey Sandpaw! How are you?" He looked behind her to see if her mentor, Littlewing, had come. "Where's Littlewing?" ~ Rowanstar sighed and took a confident step forward. He ignored the whispers of Lightstar and Gryphonstar, and meerly gave Willowstar a curt nod as she joined her fellow leaders. Rowanstar gazed out over the cats of all four Clans, his murky green eyes narrowed. He noticed Janna seated beside Dawncloud, and Bloodclaw had joined them. He gave a dissatisifed hiss at the warrior's pbvious attatchment to his sister, then began his speech. "Cats of RiverClan, ThunderClan and WindClan," His voice swept down over the gathered cats, filling the hollow. "ShadowClan is thriving and busy as usual. We have more apprentices who have begun their training and kits who have yet to become apprentices." He thought fleetingly of the sturdy, fierce tom Icekit. Rowanstar admired his vigor and determination, and how the young kit reminded him of himself. He continued, "Not only do we have new ranks being filled, but we also have a new addition. A kittypet, Janna, has now joined the ranks of ShadowClan. Dawncloud found her wandering the woods and decided to allow her to join." Yowls of distain erupted, yet some mewed in confusion and craned their necks to see Janna. "I have given her three moons to decide. If she finds that the life of a forest cat doesn't suit her, she may leave." He paused to allow the news to sink in, glaring at Dawncloud.
