Returning from talking with Batpaw, Silverpaw walked into shadowclan camp. She sat down and breated a sigh. There were so many new scents to lern...and she had to get to know all of the cats around here. She knew Dawncloud...and Rowanstar, and Bloodclaw. what about those other apprentices? Lionpaw, Jaypaw, and Icepaw? She spotted them playing not to far of, but recoiled abit when icepaw gave her a malicious glare. She didn't feel welcom into their game anyway.

Dawncloud padded out of the den, pausing to scent the warm new-leaf air. The leaves in the trees rustled with a slight breeze, and everything smelled like it was growing and flourishing in the nice weather. Behind her, a tired looking Tigersoul stretched luxuriously, his rich tabby fur ruffled by the breeze. Dawncloud looked around for something to do, and spotted her new apprentice, Silverpaw sitting in the clearing. She cheerily got to her paws and padded over to the new apprentice, tail held high. Tigersoul followed wearily, his eyes still dull. Dawncloud purred as she sat down beside Silverpaw. "Hello there," she meowed, "have you had something to eat yet?" Tigersoul plopped down beisde her, yawning. "Whassat?" he mumbled, blinking at Silverpaw. Dawncloud sighed, and flicked her tail to the sleepy warrior. "This," she meowed, her voice slightly exhasperated, "is Tigersoul. Don't be fooled by his stupid appearance. He is just as prickly as Bloodclaw." She smiled and whispered to Silverpaw, "But don't worry. He's got a weakness for young cats like yourself." She winked to Silverpaw, then casually licked a paw. Tigersoul gave Silverpaw a curt nod.

Silverpaw looked up when her mentor came over to her, with another warrior behind her. "Hi." She mewed.
"No, i havn't eaten yet. I was just in the forest talking with Batpaw," She paused, "What's his problem? And now, i'm trying to learn all of these scents." She sighed and crossed her paws.

Dawncloud sighed as well and looked over to the entrance. She furrowed her brow. "Yes," she muttered, "Batpaw does seem to be. . . Well, I guess he just needs a mentor." She shook her head, wondering why her brother hadn't held the ceremony yet (heh, I'll get on it!). She yawned and perked up. "Don't worry, Silverpaw. You'll get the scents soon enough. What do you say to a training session later this evening? Battle training at dusk is a good way to higten your senses when you don't have good visibility. What you say?" She grinned down at her apprentice, eagerly aniticpating their first training session. Dawncloud wanted to get out and do something just as much as Silverpaw did.
